When 20 years ago, I first learned of the term: WILDERNESS DEPRIVATION DISORDER I also began investigating the why's and how's of the Hunters thought process. It seemed a natural thing to do because for me wilderness skills, hiking, camping, hunting and fishing all by virtue of the activities themselves, just simply go hand in hand. The thing which I discovered that stands out the most was the literal transformation from that of the Juvenile Delinquent Mindset, and into a more Calm, Compassionate and Productive individual after their exposure to wilderness activities!
